Distinguish Labels with Different Grading Standards

Starting from 31 December 2021, energy labels with new grading standard shall be affixed to all prescribed products of single package type room air conditioners, dehumidifiers and compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs). Consumers can distinguish between two labels by looking for the “Reference Number” on the energy label. The first character of reference number of single package type room air conditioners, dehumidifiers and compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) are “C”, “D” and “L” respectively under the existing grading standard. “U2” will be added as recognition of new reference number under new grading standard.
