The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) has prepared a Technical Guidelines for Connection to District Cooling System, which aims to provide the technical requirements and arrangement for connection of district cooling system which is currently being developed at Kai Tak Development. The Supply Conditions covers the general and technical terms and conditions upon which EMSD will supply district cooling services (DCServ), as well as conditions relating to the use of DCServ. EMSD has also prepared a Guidelines for Excavation Works near the District Cooling System to help others to avoid damage to the DCS pipe network and ancillary facilities when carrying out excavation activities in the vicinity of the DCS.
