保良局慈善步行

機電工程署30多位同事於3月2日星期天帶同親友，一齊參加「保良局慈善步行」籌款，為保良局轄下260個服務單位籌募拓展經費，提供服務予有需要人士和弱勢群體。

1月12日，機電工程署四位同事組成「GGL」聯隊 (氣體及一般法例科聯隊)參加了這次慈善遠足籌款活動，為香港青年旅舍協會籌募來年經費，以支持其探索大自然，推廣旅舍文化和環境保育的活動。

四位健兒沿風景秀麗的「昂坪360救援徑」跑上昂坪市集，再順着天梯攀上香港第二高峰鳳凰山，之後經伯公坳和地塘仔郊遊徑返回終點。

醫院管理局研討大會2014

這是醫院管理局（醫管局）在香港會議展覽中心舉行的年度盛事，旨在促進醫療知識及經驗交流，推廣現代化醫療服務模式，以及讓醫療服務界與持份者一同探索和討論當今醫療服務理念。

機電工程署於5月7日至8日在大會會場設立攤位，展示我們為醫管局提供的工程、諮詢和維修服務，讓訪客能更清楚了解我們的一站式工程服務和解決方案。

我們全力支援醫管局提供高水平的醫院服務，參與今次研討大會更有助加強我們和醫管局的長期合作關係。

Po Leung Kuk Charity Walk

More than 30 EMSD colleagues and their family members joined the Po Leung Kuk Charity Walk on Sunday, 2 March to raise funds for 260 Po Leung Kuk service units to expand their services for the needy and disadvantaged in our community.

Ngong Ping Charity Walk 2014

On 12 January, an EMSD “GGL” team comprising four staff members participated in the walk, and raised funds to support the Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association’s activities to explore nature, promote hostel culture and conservation.

The enthusiastic team ran along the scenic Ngong Ping Trail and reached the Ngong Ping Village, then climbed up Lantau Peak, the second highest peak in Hong Kong, and onward to the destination via Pak Kung Au and Tei Tong Tsai Country Trail.

Hospital Authority Convention 2014

A yearly event held by the Hospital Authority (HA) in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Convention aims to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience on clinical advances and approaches to modern healthcare service, and facilitates exploration and discussion of contemporary concepts among healthcare professionals and stakeholders.

On 7 and 8 May, EMSD set up a booth at the convention venue to showcase our engineering, consultancy and maintenance services for HA, so visitors would have a better understanding of our one-stop engineering services and solutions.

We are dedicated to supporting HA to provide hospital services of high standard. Our participation in the annual Convention has helped strengthen our partnership and long-term collaboration with HA.
