Lighting

• Replace T8 electromagnetic ballasted fluorescent lighting with T5 fluorescent lighting.
• Use high-intensity-discharge (HID) systems, particularly metal halide, for outdoor and high-bay lighting.
• Retrofit fixed output lighting with dimmable lighting using digital electronic ballast and photocell.
• Install occupancy sensor control which automatically turns off the lighting when the room is empty.
• Rearranging the switching arrangement to enable lights that are only occasionally needed to be switched off individually.
