Category 1 Measures

Means to achieve energy efficiency and conservation is technically more appropriate to be called Energy Management Opportunity (EMO). According to the cost and the complexity for implementation, EMOs are classified three Categories, namely Category 1, Category 2, and Category 3.

Category 1 practically no cost investment and without any disruption to building operation, normally involving general housekeeping measures.
