Season's Greeting

elcome to our first issue of Voicelink. Voicelink aims to establish a direct link with you, our customers, keeping you informed of the latest happenings, developments, new technology and process changes within EMSD. At the same time, we hope you will use Voicelink to voice any views, ideas and suggestions you may have for us.

With the changes and developments within EMSD, the formation of the Trading Fund in 1996 and the recent untying process which began in August this year, this issue focuses on what this entire process means and how this will benefit our customers, as we move towards a more commercial, competitive and accountable environment.

Voicelink is also coming out just in time for me to wish you all the very best of the holiday season, as the century comes to an end and the new millennium approaches. May I wish all of you, your family, friends and colleagues, a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Millennium.
