Quality and the Environment have become the dual driving forces
behind EMSD's development, and therefore the focus of this issue of
Voicelink.
We are proud to have helped the Government Flying Service fly even
higher in achieving environmental excellence, and at the same time
save costs. This is testified by the progressive reduction in GFS's
electricity consumption and expenditure. Meanwhile, we have made
other efforts to improve the environment, such as extending the
roadworthiness of vehicles of our customers and reducing pollution.
On the Quality front, EMSD is committed to continuous improvement
and implementation of TQM. We have also continued to share our
experiences in quality pursuits with other like-minded institutions.
