Caring is one
of the EMSTF's core values. While providing vehicle maintenance
and advisory services to government departments, we have not
forgotten the need of Non Government Organisations (NGOs), which
make great contributions to the needy.
So EMSTF has extended its vehicles services to NGOs. This
initiative was the result of the joint efforts of the EMSD staff
and the Vehicle and Related Business Review Task Force, which has
effectively revamped the working culture, competitiveness,
efficiencies, responsiveness and organizational set up of the
Vehicle Services team.
Over the past year, we have adopted process benchmarking with
industry best practices and have also controlled our cost
mechanism. As a result, we have been able to provide services to
more and more service organisations.
Recently we even extended our services across the Pearl River to
Macau, where we provide consultancy advisory services on vehicle
maintenance, vehicle workshop design, the implementation of
ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management systems, and other
vehicle-related training services to our civil service peers, with
the recent signing of a joint agreement with IACM (INSTITUTO PARA
OS ASSUNTOS C VICOS E MUNICIPAIS) of the Macau SAR Government.
