Lifts and Escalators

• Use energy saving lamps and LEDs instead of halogen spot lamps.
• Optimize the theoretical handling capacity of escalators: Proper design and traffic analysis of escalator usage in buildings or shopping malls can reduce motor rating requirements saving energy and equipment mass.
• Optimize the lift specification: Save energy by using a traffic management system such as destination control.
• Switch off all energy-consuming parts of a lift motor when not in use.
