Quality E&M Services to New Customs & Excise Headquarters

The new Customs & Excise (C&E) Headquarters in North Point was officially opened in February 2011.

The 32-storey, 41,000-square metre building will enable more than 1,800 C&E officials to operate from the same base rather than at scattered locations as in the past.  The new headquarters comes with advanced facilities to expedite the department's work.

Solar panel is installed at the roof top of the new Customs & Excise Headquarters to harness clean energy.
The firing simulation system offers live fire judgment training to officers
at the simulated firing range.
Responding to advances in information and telecommunication technologies since the project began in 2007, the functionality and stability of the building's electronic and E&M provisions are enhanced, including the simulated firing range and audio-visual facilities.  Energy savings have also been achieved through the adoption of intelligently controlled E&M installations. A resident team is now deployed to provide round-the-clock maintenance services to ensure all systems perform optimally.
