| Contractors Invited to Tender | Selective tendering is adopted. Contractors on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of ‘Survey of Lifting Appliances and Lifting Gear’ or joint ventures with participation of local and/or overseas contractors with the lead participant or the major shareholder being on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of ‘Survey of Lifting Appliances and Lifting Gear’ who also meet the qualifications and conditions for participation stipulated in the tender documents are invited to tender. Contractors not yet on the List of Approved Suppliers of Materials and Specialist Contractors for Public Works under the category of ‘Survey of Lifting Appliances and Lifting Gear’ may also submit a tender if they submit a request for participation together with a duly completed application for inclusion in the above-mentioned approved list/category by 22 July 2016 to Mr. CHEUNG Ka-kei, Transport, Security and Central Services Division, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 6/F, 3 Kai Shing Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, meet the qualifications and conditions for participation, and their application for inclusion is duly approved on or before the tender closing date.
